EYFS Blue Watch Visit

The Blue Watch Team at Banbury Fire station came to visit the Foundation Stage class. When we looked at ‘Citizenship’ we talked about the people in our community that helps us. Fire fighters are an important part of our community. The children knew that they must dial 999 for the service. The children found out that it is not only house fires that they help with. Chemical spills, car accidents, animal rescue as well as rescuing people from great heights. The fire fighters that attended the session were informative and enthusiastic and the children were engaged with all they had to say. At the end of the session the fire fighters said how impressed they were with the children. We spoke about The Grange Way and the children showed it in abundance. Thank you, Blue Watch Team.
