KS1 The Black Country Museum

KS1 has stepped back through time, traveling to the early 20th century by visiting The Black Country Living Museum. The children were in awe and wonder as they explored ancient houses, shops and schools; experiencing first-hand how people used to live in the past. We rode on an old fashioned bus and attended a school with a very strict teacher (who gave us a reading, writing and arithmetic lesson with chalk and slate!). The children also enjoyed playing old street games. What fun! We received outstanding praise from the Museum staff on the children's behaviour. Well Done KS1.
