Hii inatumika kuanzia Mwaka wa 1 - Mwaka wa 6, kuhakikisha uthabiti shuleni, na ni muhimu kwamba maeneo yote ya shule yetu yana aina mbalimbali za muziki. Ethos nyuma ya njia ya kufundisha inaoana na yale ya Grange. Kuandika kunategemea uzoefu, kichocheo na uundaji wa mfano. Kushiriki Kuandika ni kipengele muhimu cha masomo huko The Grange na tunalenga kukuza fahari ya mwanafunzi katika ujifunzaji wao, kwa mifano ya sentensi zinazoshirikiwa na kusherehekewa katika masomo. Ubunifu, juhudi na majaribio yote yanaungwa mkono ndani ya masomo.
Huku The Grange, tunaleta umoja katika Uandishi kupitia utekelezaji wa kazi za Kuandika za shule nzima. Shuleni kote, tunatoa kichocheo kilichoshirikiwa, kama vile video, na kila mwanafunzi ana fursa ya kuandika nakala yake binafsi kuhusu somo hilo. Katika Hatua ya Msingi, ambapo tunatayarisha waandishi wetu wachanga zaidi kwa The Andika Mambo katika mwaka unaofuata, tunatumia Taarifa za Mambo ya Maendeleo na Sifa za waraka wa Kujifunza kwa Ufanisi kama zana ya kutathmini na kupanga. Watoto wanahimizwa kujiandikia wenyewe tangu mwanzo kabisa kama waandishi chipukizi. Wanahimizwa kusoma maandishi yao wenyewe. Kazi iliyoandikwa inathaminiwa kwa kuishiriki na watu wazima na marika na kupitia maonyesho au maandishi kwa madhumuni fulani. Uelewa wa watoto wa lugha iliyoandikwa unakuzwa na shughuli yenye kusudi. Tunawapa watoto fursa ya kutoa aina mbalimbali za uandishi kwa hadhira tofauti.
Nyenzo zaidi kama vile RWI katika KS1 na EYFS zinatekelezwa katika The Grange ili kukuza usomaji wa kila mtoto, tahajia, sarufi na hatimaye, kuandika.

Villa. This visually stunning wordless picture book tells the story of a family facing the devastating impact of a natural disaster, exploring themes of resilience, community, and recovery.

What is the Writing Project About?
Our aim is to ignite creativity, inspire empathy, and develop writing skills across all year groups. Using the rich illustrations and powerful narrative of Flood, pupils will explore various aspects of writing, including descriptive language, storytelling, persuasive writing, and poetry.
