Anti-Bullying Ambassadors
Our Anti-bullying ambassadors provide support and advice for their peers who may have worries around bullying. They create action plans to raise the profile of anti-bullying at The Grange.
Isla, Gracie, Bethany and Annie, the fantastic Anti-Bullying Ambassadors at the Grange Community Primary School in Oxfordshire, have recorded this short film sharing their top tips on what children and young people can do to stop bullying in their schools. In it they talk about their own experience of bullying and the impact of covid, share some strategies for young people who are being bullied, and highlight the importance of being kind and befriending children and young people being bullied, to break the cycle of bullying.
Buddy Bench
Our anti-bullying ambassadors have been working hard to implement everything on their action plan. They have now put in place our new Buddy Benches to support children who may feel lonely or not have anyone to play with at break and lunchtime. The children did an amazing job at designing the Buddy Bench themselves and working with a designer to make their vision come to life. Thank you Andrew at The Grade for helping the children’s design become a reality!
